Service Policy
Service Overview
We offer diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for a variety of electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, gaming consoles, and other consumer electronics.
Diagnostics

A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $35-$70 may apply depending on the device and issue.

If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee may be credited toward the final repair cost.

If you decline the repair or the device is deemed unrepairable, the diagnostic fee remains due.
Estimates and Approval

All repair costs will be estimated and presented to the customer for approval before any work begins.

Verbal or written approval is required to proceed.
Turnaround Time

Typical repair times vary depending on device type, issue complexity, and parts availability.

We aim to complete most repairs within 1-7 business days, but this is an estimated timeframe and not guaranteed.

We will notify customers of any unexpected delays.

Expedited/rush repair services may be available for an additional fee.
Parts

We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts or high-quality aftermarket components depending on availability and customer preference.

If OEM parts are not available, compatible alternatives will be used with customer consent.

All parts are tested before installation.
Warranty
Repairs include a 60-day limited warranty covering the original issue and parts provided by TECH LLC.
This warranty does NOT cover:

Services using parts not purchased through TECH LLC.

Software-related issues, including virus removal, operating system installation or configuration

New or unrelated symptoms not tied to the original problem, even if they arise within the 60-day period

Any modifications, upgrades, or hardware changes made to the device by the customer or a third party during the warranty period — such actions void the warranty
The warranty also excludes physical damage, liquid damage, and issues resulting from misuse or tampering after service.
Data & Privacy

Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all data before submitting a device for service.

We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or deletion during repair.

All customer data is treated with the highest level of privacy and confidentiality.
Unclaimed Devices

Devices left unclaimed for more than 60 days after service completion may incur a storage fee of $30 per day.

After 60 days, unclaimed devices will be considered abandoned and may be recycled, resold, or used for parts to recover costs.
Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the return of the device.

We accept Cash, Apple Pay and Zelle.

A deposit may be required for special order parts or extensive labor.
Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for pre-existing issues or damages unrelated to the repair.

We are not responsible for minor cosmetic wear that may occur during disassembly or repair.

We do not guarantee compatibility with third-party software or aftermarket accessories.
Replacement Part Procedure

All replacement parts will be sourced by TECH LLC unless otherwise agreed.

If special-order parts are required, a deposit may be collected before ordering. These parts are usually non-refundable.

We may install customer-supplied parts at our discretion; however, no warranty is provided for such repairs.

In rare cases where a replacement part is defective, we will replace it at no additional labor cost, provided it was sourced through us and is still under warranty.

All replaced components become the property of TECH LLC, unless the customer requests them back before service is completed.
Repair Attempt Fee Policy

If a repair is attempted but not completed due to extensive damage, non-availability of parts, or other limiting factors, a repair attempt fee may be charged.

This fee compensates for technician time, labor, and effort invested in the attempt.

The fee amount depends on the device and repair complexity and will be disclosed upfront.

If a customer declines further service, or if the device is declared unrepairable, this fee still applies.

Devices with prior third-party repair attempts, liquid damage, or board-level failure may carry higher repair attempt fees.

By submitting your device for service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this Service Policy.
